Meet the Artist
brittany - founder/creative director
I have always had a passion and affinity for art and design. But like many aspiring creatives with BIG dreams, I lacked confidence and took on the limiting views and fears of others. Initially pursuing fine art and graphic design as a college freshman, I changed my degree focus to psychology with the intent of further study. After graduating, I entered the state’s competative nursing program. Having only a year left, I realized I could not continue the path to becoming an RN. As much as I desired to have purpose in doing good and helping people, my heart wasn’t in nursing. Somehow I found the courage to leave the security of a well-paid future with esteemed purpose to start at ground zero to seek out and pursue what really set my soul on fire.
I traveled for a year and then took an internship in San Diego with a graphic designer. After returning to Alaska, I enrolled in design courses and began pursing art again. Shortly after, I landed a job with a local advertising agency. Once I stopped forcing paths that looked good on the outside and pursued what felt right on the inside, doors opened and everything started to fall into place. I also found the love of my life during this time and discovered my passion for invitation design through our love journey.
I work full-time as an art director for the same agency I began working with over eight years ago. In my off hours, I pursue my passion of helping couples tell their love story through carefully curated and artfully executed wedding invitations and stationery.
Putting Dreams on Paper
For as long as I can remember, I have loved art and I have loved seeing joy spill across the faces of those who received or experienced my creations. I learned to appreciate the impact of creative expression and the deep, moving role of visual communication.
Life has allowed me to explore many different paths, but it was designing and creating the invitation suite for my and Nathan’s own wedding that rekindled that passion and lit that fire of joy. I fell in love with the process and everything about wedding invitation design.
Save the Dates and Invitation Suites are the very first experience guests receive of what to expect for that incredibly special day where two people commit and promise themselves to each other. Invitations set the tone, offer a window into a couple’s love story, and communicate so much more than the necessary details of day, time and place.
Each couple has a story, a unique and special journey of love. My dream is to put your dreams on paper, to share your story while honoring and communicating your vision through a tangible keepsake that will not only set the tone but will endure and be a reminder of the love you share. There is something so special about the tactile experience, being able to see and feel the raw deckle edges of handmade paper, the beauty of a perfectly pressed wax seal, or those luxury deep impressions of letterpress and foil specialty print methods.
I cherish every opportunity I have to share in a couple’s joy and capture their love through design and intentional details. It is my deepest privilege to bring your aesthetic vision to life through wedding invitations and stationery that feels true to you.

INSPIRED BY NATURE
Growing up in Alaska, I have been surrounded by immense wild beauty that leaves me in constant awe and wonder… bold, majestic, towering mountains… vast open spaces… the imperfectly perfect scattering of wildflowers. This earth gives life and welcomes us to cherish and share in its goodness. I have always been so inspired by all the textures, smells, sounds, tastes and visual decadence nature provides and the grounding connection I feel to it. It felt only natural that our semi-custom invitation collection reflect this influential organic beauty.
