COLORS

MONITOR DISPLAY
Although much care is taken to represent colors accurately, colors may vary from monitor to monitor. Colors shown in product images as displayed electronically, including email proofs, may vary slightly from the actual and final product due to these differences.

HANDMADE PAPER
Due to the nature of handmade paper, color may vary slightly between batches and/or between pieces. Therefore, it is not uncommon to have slight variations of the same color throughout an order. In addition, paper color/sizes are dependent upon market/stock availability.

INK
Paper color will impact how an ink color prints. This is true for both digital and letterpress printing as letterpress inks have a transparent quality to them. The same ink color may present differently depending upon the color of paper it is printed on. Please keep this in mind when choosing an ink color other than black.

 

HANDMADE PAPER

In addition to possible variance in color, handmade paper may deviate slightly in size from the specifications provided. Each piece will be unique and any ‘flaws’ or size variations are not mistakes. This only adds to the unique and handmade nature of each piece. Also, due to the varying edges of handmade paper, we cannot guarantee exact-centered printing on each piece, every time. Once an order has been placed, no refund is available, including if you do not like the paper you have requested.

Handmade paper envelopes come ‘ungummed.’ Please inquire for recommendations on sealing outer envelopes if you have not selected assembly services. We do, however, apply a homemade kosher adhesive to handmade paper rsvp envelopes (so your guests are able to send their reply). This is included with the rsvp envelopes, and we offer this service for your outer envelopes as an add-on. Just let us know you would like this included!

 

PHOTOS/POEMS/QUOTES

Clients are responsible for gaining permission to use/feature other’s work within their custom or personalized orders from Number B Design Co, including but not limited to any photographs, poems, songs, quotes, or hymns. Any photos provided to be used for illustration, or quotes, etc. to be featured, are presumed approved for use (reproduction and sale); Number B Design Co assumes no responsibility and will not be held liable in any case of copyright infringement. It will be understood that photos, quotes, etc. supplied by the Client have been granted prior approval for use in the Client’s wedding suite or other related pieces. The Client will be responsible for any illegal reproduction due to incorrect licensing or breach of copyright laws.

 

EMBELLISHMENTS

Number B Design Co cannot guarantee that identical embellishments displayed in photographs of past work will still be available from the same suppliers at the time of ordering (ribbon color/width, envelope color, etc.). Number B Design Co will make a good faith effort to match the embellishment shown or requested. Client authorizes Number B Design Co to make a complementary substitution based on their professional opinion and the requested design if necessary.

 

PROCESS

INQUIRE
To request a quote, please complete the form that pertains to the services you are interested in; we offer individualized quotes based on your submitted preferences and stationery needs. Please allow 1-2 business days for us to review your inquiry and compose your personalized proposal.

PROPOSAL
You will receive an email with a link to view your online proposal once it is ready. Your proposal will feature your estimated delivery date and a breakdown of the costs for all stationery details, including added embellishments, requested. Once everything looks good to you, a signed agreement and 50% retainer of cost is required to reserve services.

DESIGN
After accepting your proposal and submitting your retainer, you will receive our personalization/wording form. Once I have all of your wedding details and information (including photos for illustration, like a venue sketch), design begins! To ensure we capture your aesthetic vision, I will provide a digital mood board (inspiration images, sketches for any custom illustration and a proposed color palette) before crafting your final design. Please allow 4-6 weeks for semi-custom and 6-8 weeks for custom invitation design.

REFINE
All proofs will be digitally available through email. Once I have your design ready for review, you will receive your first proof where you can view the design and send feedback. Your stationery package includes three complimentary rounds of revisions for you to make specific design changes.* Any additional rounds of revisions will be subject to a $50 fee per round. This is the time to proofread and confirm final details and selections. Review everything carefully, especially spelling and dates. The client is responsible for all aspects of the design, including but not limited to grammar, spelling, information and spacing. Once final approval is given, Number B Design Co will not be responsible for any errors later discovered, and any reprints will be at the expense of the client. Please allow 1-2 weeks for refinement and proofing. Multiple revisions or delayed design approval beyond this allotted timeframe may impact the overall timeline.
*Custom design couples additionally have one complimentary complete design direction change (this means that if our initial custom design presented in proof 1 is not on point to the vision you had in mind, there is one complimentary overhaul to the design before moving onto the three revision rounds mentioned above).

PRINTING & PRODUCTION
Your final signature of approval, as well as final payment of remaining cost, is required before any printing takes place. Printing/production can take between 4-6 weeks; the time required to print depends on a number of factors including print method, specialty paper order, number of cards per suite and suite quantity. Once printing begins, we are unable to make additional changes. The utmost care is taken during printing and production to ensure quality and consistency throughout your stationery pieces. We include the addition of two complimentary suites: a photographer’s suite for the addition of beautiful flat lays to your wedding gallery, and a keepsake suite for you.

DELIVERY
If you chose to add assembly and mailing services, your invitation suites will be assembled, envelopes stuffed and sealed, and taken to the Post Office to be sent to your guests. We love providing this service to our couples! But, if you prefer to assemble yourself, all items required for your invitation suite assembly will be sent in one box to your preferred address. While we pack our orders with great care, once your package is handed over to a third party carrier, Number B Design Co is no longer liable for the package and cannot provide refunds for packages that are lost, damaged or delayed in transit. If you would like to add insurance to account for any unforeseen issues outside our control, please let us know and that can be added to the shipping cost. Please ensure your requested shipping address is complete and correct.

 

TIMELINE

For bespoke and semi-custom invitation suites, agreed upon timelines are dependent on Client response time and revision rounds. Multiple rounds of revisions or delayed design approval may impact the overall timeline.

SEMI-CUSTOM
The design and proofing process for semi-custom invitations generally takes between 5-7 weeks; printing/production takes between 3-6 weeks and is dependent upon print method (digital: 3 weeks; letterpress/foil: 4-6 weeks). We recommend reserving at least 3 months to design and produce (ready to mail) your semi-custom stationery package.

CUSTOM
For fully custom bespoke suites, the design and proofing process generally takes between 7-9 weeks. Printing and production is the same timeline as semi-custom. We recommend reserving at least 4 months to design and produce custom stationery.

Please keep production timelines in mind and start the process early to ensure plenty of time to receive and send out Save-the-Dates and invitations to your guests. Unassembled suites will be shipped promptly via USPS priority mail (or other agreed upon carrier/method) following the completion of the printing/production process and will require a signature upon delivery. Assembled suites will be hand-delivered to the post office to be sent to guests. Timelines given for producing stationery are best estimates only. While we make every effort to meet indicated timelines, certain factors outside our control will occasionally extend those times (e.g. equipment breakdown or temporary paper shortages, postal strikes, bad weather that delays delivery, public holidays).

 

PAYMENT

For printed wedding invitation suites, payment is required in two stages. The first stage of payment is a 50% non-refundable retainer that reserves your spot in our schedule and covers the design/proofing of your order. The retainer is required before any work begins. The second stage of payment is the remaining cost of the provided quote and will be due before your order in printed. No stationery order will be printed, available for collection or sent until full payment is received and cleared. All products remain the property of Number B Design Co until full payment is received and cleared. The design copyright will always belong to Number B Design Co. Shipping payment (if applicable) will be billed once final package is assembled and cost is determined.

 

Shipment/Delivery

All shipping costs will be totaled and billed before any package ships. If the Client requests a rush order, the rush shipping fee will be reflected on this final invoice.

Minor changes such as actual postage or number of envelopes addressed will be reflected on the final invoice. The Client understands that such changes may be necessary in order to complete the Services. Number B Design Co will notify Client of necessary minor changes prior to incurring costs.

INSURED SHIPPING
Client may choose to purchase insured shipping and will be billed on the final invoice. Number B Design Co may require a signature for any goods delivered, at which point risk of loss for purchased goods passes to Client. However, for all Deliverables that Number B Design Co must ship to Client, the risk of loss for damaged or lost Goods passes to the Client at the time that Number B Design Co mails out the Goods. Number B Design Co and Client may agree to deliver goods in person.

POST OFFICE
Although the post office reads envelopes electronically, because all typography designs are unique, some addresses or calligraphy styles will be more or less difficult to be read electronically. The Client understands that any address that cannot be read by machine will likely be hand inspected. If the address still cannot be delivered, it will be returned to the address of the return. Number B Design Co is not responsible for resending, reprinting or reimbursing for invitations or addresses that do not make it to their intended address.

Stationery suite orders are carefully packaged and ship USPS Priority Mail or other agreed upon shipping service (wedding invitation suites will ship flat and unassembled by default and require a signature upon delivery). While we pack our orders with great care, once your package is handed over to a third party carrier, Number B Design Co is no longer liable for the package and cannot provide refunds for packages that are lost, damaged or delayed in transit. Please ensure your shipping address is accurate.

 

RETURNS/EXCHANGES

Custom/personalized orders are not available for returns or exchange, but please contact Number B Design Co if there are any issues with your order. The Client will inspect the product(s) and notify Number B Design Co within 3 days (of reception) of any shortages, defects or with any other complaint. We take great pride in our attention to detail and providing a quality product you will love, but in the unlikely event of any errors occurring on the part of Number B Design Co, these will be rectified at our cost. After the 3 day period, it will be at the discretion of Number B Design Co on the course of action to be taken; Number B Design Co will not be held legally liable in respect to complaints or issues brought to their attention after the 3 day period.

 

CANCELATION

Cancellations and refunds are not accepted for semi-custom and custom work. In the event of cancellation of an order, ownership of all copyrights and the original artwork shall be retained by Number B Design Co. The initial 50% retainer payment for design and reservation of services is non-refundable.

INCAPACITATION
If Designer/Number B Design Co should become materially or physically incapacitated, such as due to injury, severe illness, pregnancy, or unexpected circumstances prohibiting them from performing the Services under this Agreement for any reason, Clients agree that the maximum remedy shall be a refund of the prorated portion of the Fees paid by Clients prior to the date of the occurrence of incapacitation, based upon the extent of the Services rendered prior to the incapacitation.
